POTD: Cats or Dogs?

We may have had this poll before, but I don't seem to be able to find it again.

So what do you prefer: Cats or Dogs?

Dogs for sure. I have 2.

Dogs, I have both a dog and a cat but the cats annoying and I'm allergic so dogs are the only way to go.

I like both but take having pets very serious. They are like children and demand a lot of time and attention. Well, cats not so much - but most of them shed and that takes a lot of time and attention to clean up. Anyway both are great. We have a dog but if we had more time and room we might have more. Who knows.

I prefer dogs. But we have 3 cats. At one stage I think we had about 16! One of the cats thinks he's a cross between human and dog. Another one is able to open doors to let herself in or out of rooms or the house and she is also a fantasic hunter. She can catch birds in full flight, with a standing jump that goes higher than a car! And the other one is deaf and albino and therefore loud, but seems highly intelligent with a good memory. Never thought I would take to cats, having had dogs before, but this is such a motley crew, they've really grown on me.
