What have you seen and what do you want to see?

We don't do movies too often, but so far this summer we have seen A-Team and The Wizard's Apprentice. Wife Wants to see Knight and Day and Charlie St. Cloud. I think Inception and Salt look interesting.
A-Team was pretty decent. had a few good one-liners that had me laughing and the movie itself went well. The most impressive part I guess was the ETX theater where the sound actually blew air up my pant legs during the big explosions. Wizard's apprentice was pretty good too. A creative twist and modern rendition of an old old story.
Most of our summer fun has been traveling or live events. We saw Wicked (really quite good) and been to a few museums and Baseball Games (MLB, Texas Rangers).

I just returned from vacation. I saw Prince of Persia (not in a theatre, but on my pc). Was OK.

I agree that Inception looks promising.

Was The A-Team not a complete fake, if you're used to the original television series? I used to watch that show back in the 80s, and I heard some pretty bad comments about this movie.

Baseball is always a good way of spending time, I think. During my vacation I spent a lot of time with my youngest daughter, going to playgrounds, playing tennis (she's 3, and she beats me... ) Shocked and riding our bikes. My oldest daughter (5) spend 2 weeks in a swimming pool, and she's now gotten her basic swimming diplomas, so I'm very proud of her (in the Netherlands you get level A, which is basics, level B, which is advanced and level C, which is even more advanced. She got all three!).

The rest of the summer I pobably will spend in the office, working. I may have to travel a little to Germany, the UK, Belgium, Poland or the Netherlands. But that will also be business related.

Good opportunity to watch some of the movies that I still have somewhere on my harddisk...

I actually thought A-Team was pretty good. It was a decent throwback to the 80's show, but different too. It was of course over the top, but I remember the show the same way. The special effects were ok, but I think the theater I was in made them seem much MUCH better, especially with the sound.
I kept wanting more and looking for more, but overall I was well pleased with the end result.

Also, as a throw back to 80's action genre, I think The Expendables looks interestingly amusing. I may go see it . . .

Yeah, that one sounds good to me too. I also saw different comments on Inception on the VE forums, BTW.
