So I'm seriously considering getting me one of those tiny little netbooks. i have quite a lot of days in school where it's handy to have computer, but not really necesary to have a 15 inch monitor. Netbooks are pretty cheap now, and I'm thinking it'd be nice to have one for those "lighter" days at school. I'm happy with my laptop when we're doing actual writing and reporting, but it's large and heavy (compared to netbooks) and doesn't keep power very well (about 1,5 hours). Netbooks come small, around 2 pounds and some are said to keep power for around 5 hours (the 6cell battery ones), which would be ideal for a day in school. I'm thinking about getting one with a 10 inch monitor, to not make it too tiny to work on.

What do you guys think? Any of you have experience with netbooks or any opinion you'd like to share?

I'm looking into getting a notebook, but more of the gamer capable, desktop replacement ones perhaps . . .
