Real Question

I'am wanting to paint the door handles on my car and don't want to have a pro do it. Should I go to the autozone and buy the chrome car paint and paint it myself, would that be just as good as having a pro do it? Any "car people" here?

If I watch those shows on Discovery Channel (Car Dealer etc.) they make it look easy to do it yourselves. However, I wouldn't do it. But that's because I'm not very handy myself. Unfortunately, I also don't have any handy friends to help me either.

I'm sure it's doable if you want to. Just take it easy, step by step and no rush. And make sure you have eveything ready and close by that you need or think you need. And try to use "professional" stuff.

Dude, that is so not the way to start if you want him to listen to your advice...

BTW, thread moved. I guess it isn't really clear, but the Q&A section is intended for CN stuff. Besides, I figured that perhaps some of our guests could offer some advice.

I asked some of the kids in my class and of course they all said do it yourself, most of them are the do it yourself kind of people. They also suggested buying new handles but that would also cost a bloody fortune.
