Drinking absinthe straight is an insane, painful and futile exercise. And it should always be set alight first Very Happy I like it, but generally drink it mixed or porperly prepared. Unless I want to get hammered really quick.

Of course you burn SOME of the alcohol! What do you think the flame is fuelled by?

Meh, never mind me, I'm the kind of guy who does shots of Bacardi 151 Razz

Well yeah, but it still gets you hammered, and looks cool in the process! And it warms it up, making it easier to drink. I find strong alcohol easy to drink when it is either warm, or really cold.

my self and a couple friends downed several bottles straight at a buddies b day party. along with some atomic cherries.
the b day boy went to the bathroom and didnt come back. he woke up the next morning 3 blocks from home, naked, and laying in a ditch full of mud at a construction site.

Never tried absinthe. But I did have some B52's recently in a hotel in Poland recently... Does that count? They were also on fire...
